Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez has been proving his worth to the team many times over the last few months.
After being signed for £ 75 million, he was forced to miss the first few months of action due to a suspension from FIFA. Even after his return, it took a while before Suarez started replicating his Liverpool form. Now, the Uruguayan is seen as an integral part of the Barcelona attack and he looks well settled at the Camp Nou. English football has probably seen the last of Suarez, but the striker has not ruled out a return to Liverpool.
He also says that the Merseyside outfit will be the only club he would want to play for in English football once again. Even amidst a lot of controversy, the club and its fans supported Suarez through a lot of tough times. He almost repaid this by helping club win its first Premier League title last season. After scoring 31 goals in the league, the striker saw Liverpool narrowly miss out on the title to Manchester City. Suarez was recently back at Anfield in order to play in a charity match and he stated that the club will always remain special to him.
Suarez was also joined by a number of other former Liverpool stars like Fernando Torres. “You never know in football what the future holds but if I ever play in England again I will play for the Liverpool team and not another team. It was great for me to play up front alongside Fernando.Four years ago when I signed for Liverpool, I crossed my fingers to play with Fernando and he left three days after I signed. It was a great day for the other players but for me and Fernando it was a great chance to play together,” said Suarez.
