Luis Enrique has dismissed suggestions that he is risking overworking the golden trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez.

The trio have been the finest attacking force in world football of late. Their goals have helped Barcelona hide their mediocre defence quite easily. The club are undefeated in the last 34 games of all competitions largely due to the goalscoring prowess of these three players. Barcelona’s €94 million signing is proving his worth

It has already been confirmed that Pep Guardiola will be leaving Bayern Munich by the end of the current season and Carlo Ancelotti is going to replace him. What still remains uncertain is what club Pep Guardiola will choose to coach after making his way out of the German side.

Pep Guardiola has revealed however a condition that he wants to be filled about his upcoming coach and it’s for them to sign Barcelona’s Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan striker has recently been catching the spotlight of the media and this is mainly due to the outstanding performances that he has been displaying with the Barcelona jersey.

Suarez was named as the best player of the Club World Cup competition which concluded not too long ago with Barcelona lifting the title and with the Uruguayan forward claiming the MVP award. This isn’t the first time that Suarez has been at the forefront of the public eye.

Before Suarez had joined Barcelona, he had already made a name for himself after having pushed Uruguay to the semifinals of the 2010 World Cup. During his last season as a player of Liverpool, he was the main driving force behind the title worthy campaign of the Premier League club. Read more…

Luis Suarez believes nothing has come to him as a gift

Luis Suarez believes nothing has come to him as a gift and it’s only because of his work ethic that he’s been able to build a first class career at Barcelona.

Suarez has been the highest scorer for his club Barcelona in all tournaments in the ongoing season.

He had been pretty fruitful for Barcelona in 2014-15 too when he had found the back of the net 25 times.

Barcelona was a pretty potent team without Suarez as well, but, with the arrival of the Uruguayan superstar, they have only turned more dangerous in terms of their attack.

Since the time Suarez has joined in and has formed the combo with the Argentinean legend Messi and the Brazilian talisman Neymar in the front line, La Blaugrana has sort of become unplayable to the opposition teams. They have been thrashing everyone for past some time.

Barcelona has already won four titles this year and if they manage to emerge the champions in Club World Cup too, it would be title no. 5 for them in 2015. Read more…

Once again Alberto Aquilani has signed for a foreign club and once again, the injuries are starting to hamper him.

He is set to have to sit out of what could have been his debut game for the Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon which he has signed for only recently.

So, he has spent almost his entire career playing in Italy barring that one season at Anfield and in that very season, his body suffered a lot of blows.

And, his time at Lisbon seems to have started on the same note.

Aquilani would be desperately hoping that the history doesn’t get repeated.
