ENJOYING LIFE

In an interview that was made to C.Ronaldo some days ago, the Portuguese winger said that he is enjoying his life in the Spanish capital of Madrid as he is extremely happy to not only be living but also playing in Real Madrid.

As the interview with the star of Real Madrid continued going on, C.Ronaldo praised Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane as he feels lucky on being coached with both of them

Ronaldo: “One of the big advantages of having someone like Zinedine Zidane on your coaching staff is that it’s extremely easy for him to pass his experience and knowledge to the younger players at the club. It’s simply fantastic to have him with us. I’m absolutely delighted to have the chance to work closely with Zidane on a daily basis’’

As for the team’s main coach Carlo AncelottiRonaldo had nothing but praises as well. CR7: “Not only he’s a fantastic manager, but he’s also a fantastic person. Just like Zidane, he has been a high caliber football player in the past and that grants him with more than enough experience in oder to know how to deal with players from different surroundings’’.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s year just keep on getting better and better for him with more goals being scored each week in the Spanish League and the performances improving as well. He finished off the group stages of the Champions League by setting a new European goal-scoring record when he scored against Copenhagen as he netted his 9th goal making him the top scorer in the 22 year history of the Champions League’s group stage.

Ronaldo passed the 8 goal mark he shared with Ruud van Nistelrooy,Hernan Crespo, Filippo Inzaghi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Portuguese attacker is quickly becoming a favorite on claiming the Ballon d’Or award.

SUAREZ EXCELS

Fulham manager Martin Jol recently witnessed the destructive capabilities of Luis Suarez firsthand, as his Fulham team were destroyed by the Uruguayan in a great display. Suarez has been regarded as one of the best players in the Premier league. He has been subjected to transfer rumours linking him with Arsenal and Real Madrid in the last few months. Despite the problems he has created off the pitch, Suarez continues to be one of the sought-after players due to his abilities on the pitch. Jol, whose team were beaten 4-0, said that Suarez is one of the best in the world inside the penalty box.

Suarez is known for his dribbling skills and this combined with excellent finishing capabilities mean that the 26-year-old is one of the deadliest in the world at scoring goals. He already has more goals than Lionel Messi this season despite missing the start of the campaign. Suarez is level on goals with Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge, but he is expected to comfortably overtake them if he manages to maintain this current form. Jol is no stranger to Suarez having managed him at Ajax, but he came up against the 26-year-old perhaps for the first time.

“He’s a lot different off the pitch. He’s actually quiet. He’s not outspoken. He’s not someone who will fight people but on the pitch he wants to win. I can remember in the World Cup he saved the goal and it was ridiculous because he was like the goalkeeper and then there was a penalty and he was sent off and then he was cheering when they missed it. There is no-one better than him in the box,” said Jol after the match.

The Dutchman has said that English football has brought out the best in him in recent years.
