SUAREZ: ATLETICO WILL FIGHT FOR THE TITLE TILL THE END

The Spanish La Liga title race is expected to go down the wire this season and it’s very tricky trying to guess who would end up being crowned Champions of the country’s league title. However, Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez has claimed that he and his club will do anything and fight till the last day of the season to ensure that they emerge as Champions.

At the start of the season, Atletico were flying high and started the campaign on the front foot as they took advantage of the slip-ups of their rivals. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid endured some bumpy start to the season and Atletico, on the other hand, were having themselves a brilliant campaign in the process.

Barcelona were going through a new phase after they changed managers as they sacked Quique Setien and brought in Ronald Koeman as his replacement. It was a tough journey for the club and the Netherlands international manager but they recovered as the season progressed and have now entered into the top 3 positions of the La Liga table.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, were suffering a host of injuries to a lot of their star players and had to endure a rocky start to the season too. Their form was fluctuating and it also took them a while to get back on track. The Los Blancos are also now in the running to win the title, alongside their two rivals and Sevilla.

With the four teams close to each other with points on the log, Suarez has vowed to draw motivation from the pleasure of winning the league title and to ensure that it does not skip away from their hands. The former Barca man said it is their fault that they now have to watch their rivals catch up with them, but they will fight hard to win the title.
